Learn about Racking Homemade Wine
Racking Wine...
Racking homemade wine is perhaps even more important to you than racking storebought wine for the simple reason that your time, passion, caring, and sweat went into producing your own vintage and you want to protect it and display it proudly.
There are just some things that money can't buy, and the feeling of satisfaction from making, displaying, and enjoying your own wine is one of them.
You might be tempted to construct your own wine rack by hand from sourcing materials, but this may not be the most prudent course of action unless you happen to be a really good craftsman and are adept with handling tools.
Racking homemade wine, then, should probably be best done with one of the many fantastic wine racks available on the market nowadays.
Not only are there the standard wooden ones that have timeless construction and appeal...but there are also metal ones now that have stunning artistic design and flair. You'll be awestruck at some of the wine rack designs that are now on the market. And the costs are very reasonable too.
If you live on the Westcoast, or any earthquack prone area, it's very important that racking homemade wine is a priority -- and not just any rack, but the kind that can be secured against the wall to protect your wine from the occassional minor tremor.
Drinking wine, as all wine lovers know, isn't just about the experience of drinking the wine itself....but about appreciating all of its facets -- from the way the bottle looks, to the way it smells, to the company we share it with.
You can heighten the pleasure of the wine experience by racking homemade wine in an area where your family, guests, and, of course, you, can appreciate visually.

October 26, 2008 · Filed under Uncategorized Ugh… I am highly annoyed right now. So, right now I’m really trying to learn more about how to be more ‘green’ and such. I grew up in a house where we never recycled, let the water run when we brush our teeth, throw stuff out all time, etc. My dad thinks the whole ‘go green’ thing is crap. He did, however, tend to pick up trash when he would see it on the side of the highway, that kind of thing. In any case, my point is that my family was neve
Joe Maddon does not like your choice of the Silver Bullet

As we all know by now, Joe Maddon is a very intelligent man. He likes to read, he enjoys his wine and he obviously knows a little something about this sport we call baseball. Still, he keeps finding ways to show off the impressive breadth of his knowledge, demonstrating for us on Sunday the proper way to quickly disarm an obnoxious and heckling Phillies fan. The method? Make fun of the beer he's drinking. (Brilliant!)Per Maddon: "I was actually giving a guy a hard time for drinking Coors Ligh

This was one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time. Although I was a down a little on Thursday.. I remembered the good times with my best friend.. I called a few of my other friends and we laughed it up on some of those moments.. I was reminded of attacking a lady at the funeral for trying to put lipstick on her in order to tone down what the funeral director’s did with her face.. WOW *Thanks Cindy* for that one… LOL I hung out friday after work with Organized. he was in town for his home

There are 15 speakers in the room this evening for Interesting Vancouver at the Vancouver Rowing Club, all from diverse and unique backgrounds and each with something interesting to say. I’m sitting here looking up at the Rowing Club’s Roll of Honor for men who gave their lives for their country in from 1914-1918. Upon arrival we were each given a clothespin on which to write our names (wooden name tag FTW) as well as
